Course Objectives This course involves a critical review of theory and research in the field of strategic management. The scope of the course is comprehensive, including both issues of strategic content and strategic process. Particular emphasis is placed on empirical study of strategic issues.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Analyze the contributions of the studies in strategic management to the field both theoretically and practically
  • Discuss the importance and necessity of the corporate strategy.
  • Evaluate strategic management processes by scientific means.
Course Description This course introduces doctoral students to the principal theoretical perspectives and empirical findings in the field of strategy. While this course emphasizes the state of the art in theory development and empirical research, the historical roots of current research are also examined.
